Visit Lighthouse in Pensacola
If you DM Brian Margavich on Facebook, he will set up a private tour with you. Brian is the lighthouse keeper. If you visit on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., that is Brian’s shift at the top and he shuts the motor down and cleans the 10′ lens each week. Brian will also give you a guided tour of the Keepers Quarters as well.
Because of the shooting that took place on the Naval base on December 6, 2019, you must have a military i.d. Or, be escorted on to base by Brian Margavich.
National Naval Aviation Museum

In order to visit the Museum, Department of the Navy requires a valid Department of Defense (DoD) ID card for any visitors to access NAS Pensacola. DoD ID card holders are allowed to escort up to 15 guests (limited to 2 vehicles) onto NAS Pensacola and to visit the Museum. Holders of a Veteran Health Identification Card that notes a service-connected disability may also access the air station and visit the museum.

Fort Barrancas, founded in 1787, was a former military fort. It is a National Historic Landmark and is also known as Fort San Carlos de Barrancas. Fort Barrancas, built using six million bricks, played a crucial role against foreign invasion. However, this fort only saw action during the American Civil War.
Take a tour of Fort Barrancas and explore its 18th-century features. Fort Barrancas also hosts a wide array of ranger-guided programs around the area that you can participate in to enjoy a fun and educational experience.
Fort Pickens

State Park – Tarkiln Bayou
Tarkiln Bayou is a beautiful park on the western edge of Pensacola, Florida. There are numerous trails and a boardwalk that leads to Perdido Bay.
NOTE: There is an app called AllTrails. It is awesome! Enter the city and it gives you all kinds of trails with photos, reviews, etc.
