Rules and Safety are paramount here at The Great Beach Escape.

It is always a good idea to know the expectations and limitations on any travel adventure or journey.  Please enjoy your stay and make good decisions.

Even from your cell phone, the 911 operator is able to locate you from your cell phone.  The Navarre Beach Fire Rescue are one mile away from the condo. The firemen will be the first to reach you.

Hurricane Evacuation

Hurricane season is June 1 to November 30 every year, with August and September being the most active months for tropical storms in Florida.

Fire Extinguisher

The fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink.

Evacuation Stairs

In case of a fire or an immediate evacuation is necessary, please use the stairs that are to your right just outside the front door.

Quiet Time

Quiet time is observed from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Luggage Carts

Luggage carts are not allowed in the units or on beach walkovers. Return luggage carts to the ground floor cart area immediately after use. Riding on carts is not permitted.

Balcony & Walkway Rules

  • Do not throw any objects from the balcony or walkways.
  • Do not feed the birds from the balcony or walkways.
  • Towels or clothing may not be hung over the balcony rail or walkways.
  • Do not keep beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and other beach in the walkways in front of unit doors. Adequate storage is provided for these items  in the temporary storage area on the ground floor. 

Garbage

All garbage must be bagged and sent down the trash chutes located on each floor next to the elevators. To avoid clogging the chutes, do not force large boxes or other bulky item down the chutes.

No Playing

Do not play on the elevators, the roof, walkways, or in the stairwells. Children should always be supervised. Skateboarding, roller lading, and skating are not permitted on the property.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in rental units, at the pool, or on the beach.

Dunes

ALWAYS use the walkover to access the beach! DO NOT walk on the dunes.

It is super important to know what the colors of the flags mean.  The flags are posted on the walkover on the way to Navarre Beach. You can also follow the Navarre Beach Lifeguard Facebook page for daily reports during the summer.

Jelly Fish Sting

Meat Tenderizer can be put on a jelly fish sting to help break down the protein found in jellyfish venom to reduce swelling, pain, and itching. Meat tenderizer in your bag is easier to carry than a bottle of vinegar or a can of shaving cream. 

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is located on the 1st floor approximately midway of the building.  The access code is in the blue binder. Please be mindful of the Fitness Center Rules:

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING YOUR PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS; EXERCISE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

  1. Fitness center is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm for Regency Guests.
  2. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 14 IS PERMITTED IN THE FITNESS CENTER.
  3. Anyone AGES 14 – 16 must be ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
  4. FOOD OR DRINK (other than water) is NOT ALLOWED.
  5. Proper attire (shirts, pants and shoes) is required at all times. BATHING SUITS AND BARE FEET ARE NOT ALLOWED.
  6. Please contact the management immediately if there is a problem with any of the equipment.
  7. Be considerate of others; share the equipment and the television (30-minute limit when people are waiting).
  8. Use towels and cleaner provided to clean the equipment after use but please do not spray the cleaner directly onto the equipment. 

Parking Rules

  1. There are 155 unassigned/open parking spaces.
  2. Cover parking spaces are reserved.
  3. All vehicles must display a Navarre Beach Regency parking permit in the front window.
  4. Vehicle passes should be provided by the person or company you rent your unit through. If you do not have a parking pass, check with Association Manager whose office is located on first floor.
  5. Vehicles parked illegally in fire lanes, handicapped parking spaces, restricted areas, or reserved parking areas when not authorized, will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
  6. Speed limit is 5 MPH on the property. Vehicles must fit within the width and length of the parking lot lines unless written permission from the manager is obtained.
  7. Boats, trailers, jet skis, RVs, etc. may not be parked in the parking lot without prior written approval from the Association Manager.
  8. All bicycles must be registered in the office and tagged. When not in use bikes are to be stored in a bike rack under either end of the building.
  9. Motorcycles must be registered in the office and may only be parked in legal parking spaces.

Pool Rules

  1. The pool is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  2. There is NO Life Guard on Duty
  3. No swimming when the pool is closed.
  4. Please shower before entering the pool.
  5. Infants who are in diapers or training pants must wear swimming diapers when in the pool area. Parents may be fined $25.00 if infants are in the pool area without wearing a swimming diaper. Parents will be charged $500.00 if your child has an accident that results in the pool being closed for cleaning.
  6. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult (age 18 or over) when in the pool area.
  7. Anyone aged 12 and above must wear a regency pool tag when in the pool area. (There is a $5.00 fee if the pool tag is lost or stolen.)
  8. No food or drink may be in the pool or near the wet deck/white area  surrounding the pool. However, food and drink may be enjoyed at the north, south and west ends of the pool area where seating is provided.
  9. THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA:
    • Animals of any kind
    • Diving
    • Glassware
    • Objects that can cause injury or inconvenience other pool guests, as determined by the Navarre Beach Regency Management.
    • Running, pushing, and shoving
    • Smoking
  10. The pool capacity is 34 persons.
  11. Weather permitting, the pool will be heated to 82°F from March 1 through October 1 and the week of Thanksgiving. The pool will not be heated if the night air temperature is projected to fall below 50°F.
